Day Three of NaNoWriMo, and some of the epic word counts from the last two days have me feeling like I’ve been left behind!
How anyone manages to make 50 000 words and over in two days, boggles my mind!
That being said, if your word count is rising, no matter how slowly –
Wheeeeee!
One word, ten, a thousand – over time they all add up to a total that you didn’t have before. And that is awesome!
Daily Prompt:
Have your character do something thrilling!
Word Goal: 1667
Total Word Goal: 50 000.
Just kidding! It’s 5000. Had ya scared there for a second, didn’t I?*
*I’ve got a sadistic sense of humour. Shoot me.

How are you coping with the daily word goals? Are you making it, breaking it, or losing it? How do you keep your motivation up? Let me know in the comments!
I’ve got a breakdown of the days I plan to write, the summary of what I need to write about, and tracking what I actually write. With my personal plan out there all I need to do is just sit and start typing. So far so good. I’m a full day ahead of my schedule and I’m over 10,300 words. Take the month one day at a time and you can see your goal is very achievable.

That’s fantastic! I’m usually a pantser, so actually planning this time has left me ahead of schedule as well. That doesn’t stop me being in awe of those who manage epic word counts. Or even regular planning. 😉

I try to live somewhere in the middle. I have an outline but not a specific plan that I stick to. My story has already evolved since I’ve started working on it.
